Come to bed, don't make me sleep alone Couldn't hide the emptiness, you let it show Never wanted it to be so cold Didn't drink enough to say you love me I can't hold onto me Wonder what's wrong with me
The castle graveyard shone eerily in the light cast by the waxing moon, the area silent save for the crushing of newly-fallen snow underneath the paws of two wolves. The bigger one went first, trotting cautiously around the graves of the thousand-year dead. She raised her head, sniffing at the frozen air. Her brown eyes saw no color, but she didn't need it - her nose could sense any and all unfriendly beings that were in the vicinity.
She checked that the area was clear and let out a soft bark, calling for her companion. The small whelp tripped over his own paws, falling into the light snow that was sprinkled around. The bitch chuckled quietly, turning back to pick up the pup by the scruff of his neck. He let out a little whine as she picked him up, walking off in the direction she'd gone in before. "Willow, I can walk, lemme down!" he whimpered, pawing at the air pathetically. She payed him no attention, just turned down another way.
"Shush, Keko. It's quicker this way," Willow mumbled thickly, her mouth full of his hair. Her nose picked up yet another strange scent, this one going to the far left. Keko struggled a little more and she finally obliged, letting him down. He yapped a little, jumping up, but Willow was quick to hush him and set off down the path, the pup nipping at her heels.
The scent led her to a dead fire, the embers still glowing red. The remnants of a huge hog were still on a spit, some of the meat having been stripped away. Willow barked quietly at Keko and he followed her to the fire, where they grabbed strips of meat and tore madly. They hadn't eaten for four days, and they were ravenous. If anything came around to take some meat they'd probably be leaving with a broken limb. Nothing got between Willow and Keko and their food.

K.O.R.I.A.N.A.T.A.R.Y.
Moving with ease on two legs, a slim girl moved, her feet leaving almost no impression on the snow. Her ears listened deep to the wind, a dear friend of hers. A small amulet (about the size of the bottom of an Ozarka water bottle) hung from her neck, the gold circumfrence of the object protected the small crystal in the center. She had refilled the crystal recently, so she would last for some time yet before having to refill it. With that in mind, without altering her pace, her arms turned into wings, her bare feet into tallons. She took to the sky with ease. Her powerful wings carrying her up on a current of air. The amulet had shrunk, the chain still the same metal, but thiner and shorter, secured around her hawk neck.
A pump of her wing carried her up higher, tilting it a little to catch another uprise. Gliding over the tops of the castle roof, she was silent. Her wings flapping ever so often to keep her in the air. Tilting her wings to the front, she felt herself drift downward, the scent of meat reaching her nose. Her dark eyes scanned the area, searching for the source, but she saw none. Drifting lower, she recognized the graveyard, she'd buried her brother there without anyone noticing. Good thing no one really notices a coyote burying a ferret. With one more tilt of her wing, she lowered herself to about 10 feet in the air. The tombstones lay beneathe her; some crumbling, others a little newer. Closing her wings, she let herself fall the remaining few feet, her tallons awaiting beneathe her. Taking hold on one of the stones. Her eyes scanned, two wolves moved ahead, eating something? Opening her wings, she glided over the still air, landing on another stone not far from them, her head tilted to the side as she watched.
The amulet hummed softly, it did that when she was curious, she hated that about it though. Her dark eyes watched the two wolves, curious. She wasn't going to draw attention to herself, but she wasn't going to sit there for long, she would take to the sky again. Glancing over their backs, the hawk saw the small stone with no writing on it, just sitting there, it had tallon marks on it. Kaz. With a inaudible sigh, she didn't move.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

And I forget Just what it takes And yet I guess it makes me smile I found it hard It's hard to find Oh well, whatever, nevermind
Wait...what was that? "Keko, stay next to me. Something's here. Something's watching us." Keko, obviously scared, bounded over to quiver at Willow's side. Willow's back arched with trepidation as she took a few steps forward, sniffing the air for signs of the other being. Keko lagged back for a few seconds before cautiously following her, his big ice-blue eyes wide with fear. A small pang of pity shot through Willow's heart - he was just a baby, and she was subjecting him to this. A smile, or as much of a smile as she could manage in this form, curled her lips as she nudged him comfortingly, and in response he clung to her leg with his little teeth and tried to drag her back to the fire. Now slightly irritated, she shook him off and continued to sniff out the intruder, her ears pricked for any tell-tale noise.
A humming sound filled her ears and Willow took off to the left, Keko tailing behind her. Almost instantaneously her gray, long hair turned to short, black fur and her face contorted. Her rippling muscles, once invisible, were now plainly showing under the fur. She could now see in color, and her sense of hearing tripled. The humming was now louder than it ever had been, and her claws unsheathed, her back twitching with the thrill of the hunt. There it was - a huge hawk, obviously female, with the stench of Vouca about it. All of Willow's previous anger immediately died and she sat on the ground, wrapping her long black tail around herself and Keko, who still clung to her side like a leech.
"Too cold to be outside, wouldn't you think?" Willow asked, her words carrying the growl customary to panthers. She didn't want to come off as threatening - or at least, not yet - so she hoped this Vouca knew that Willow couldn't help the growl. Keko looked up at his feline companion, shock evident in his huge blue eyes. Her big paw extended out to him and pulled him closer to her, the heat from her body keeping him as warm as was possible. He definitely didn't want her making conversation with the hawk, but what else was she to do?

K.O.R.I.A.N.A.T.A.R.Y.
Dark eyes watched the wolf, protecting it's young? Stretching her talons, she felt them dig into the stone. Her head tilted softly to the side, watching. She smilled mentaly when she heard the being speak. It was in a foreign tounge, but one she'd learned well. Canine. She didn't use that tounge much, she was much too used to her hawk form. The hum of the amulet remained steady, it would until she returned to her human form, but she wasn't planning on it. Moving her talons even deeper into the stone, she watched as the wolf changed. Vocua! Of course, why hadn't she scented that!? Now she was mad at herself, especially as it turned into her only natural enemy. Well...then again, her transformations were all bent on destroying eachother.
She wasn't surprised when the panther turned towards her. Kori didn't move an inch. She was used to being stalked, but she also knew that wasn't what this girl was up to. Simply curious. Her eyes flashed when the girl spoke to her. Tilting her head, like she was pondering her answer, Kori remained quiet, but only for a few heartbeats. I could ask you the same question, now couldn't I? She shrugged and retracted her tallons from the stone, feeling it crumble beneathe her. Cursing under her breath, she shot upward, not looking down at the crumbling stone as it fell to the ground.
Drifting down lazily, Kori landed on the remains of the tombstone. With a small bird-shrug, she murmered Another piece of History gone. She proded one tallon at the rubble, Shame. Looking back up at the girl in front of her, and then at the youngling beside her, she chuckled emotionlessly. Stretching my wings. She couldn't help but add to herself; And visiting a lost friend... She kept her mou- beak shut and continued to watch the duo in front of her, it was odd, her dear dear friend didn't do anything like that. They were partners...never in crime, just friends. But, they looked out for eachother.

You poor sweet innocent thing. Dry your eyes and testify. You know you live to break me. Don't deny. Sweet sacrifice. One day I'm gonna forget your name, And one sweet day, you're gonna drown in my lost pain.
"Ah...see, you obviously could...but are you going to? That's the question," Willow purred, curling up as she watched the hawk dig into the stone. Keko calmed down a little and nuzzled into his companion, letting her warmth compensate for his lack of it. To any human this would be a strange sight - a lounging panther talking to a bird with a wolf pup stuffed between her forelegs. Willow's ear twitched as she heard the sound of crumbling rock - she hated the noise - and she glared angrily at the broken stone as if it would magically take back the noise it made and reassemble. But hey, in Neverland, nothing is impossible.
Keko let out a little bark and Willow turned to him, giving him a little push with her muzzle to shut him up, and turned back to the gravestones. "Keko and I hadn't eaten for three days. We smelled food here, but it was just a few scraps. I'll live, but Keko...he gets very hungry very fast." Keko jumped up at the accusation, glaring at Willow for embarassing him, but the panther just chuckled and pulled him closer. Keko muttered a "Geroff me, Willow!" as she stuffed his face in her breastbone. He fought for a few moments, and then gave in, curling up to his companion and letting out a little dog-like sigh.
"Well...that isn't the only thing I'm here for..." Willow released a wistful sigh, her big eyes scanning the surrounding area for the huge masoleum that kept the bones of one of the biggest dragons in Neverland. Vox. Her foster father and the Vouca who had taught her everything. Hell, he was one of the only people who would put up with her and her moods. A small smile curled her lips as she remembered his way, but it instantly evaporated when she remembered how he died. You killed him, you little thingyroach, her concience nagged, but she brushed it off with a flick of her tail and lay her head down on the frozen ground.

K.O.R.I.A.N.A.T.A.R.Y.
With another bird-shrug, Kori remained quiet. She looked down at the crushed stone beneathe her body, studying the consistancy of the crumbs. She didn't feel like asking many questions today, for once. Any other day, the girl would have been bombarded by them, but not today. Fluffing her feathers, Kori watched the panther and the wolf pup. Is there a story behind the pup? She inquired, she was unfortunatly naturally curious. She herself had a young fox that her brother had saved before he himself had died. Molly, her personal memorial of her brother.
Just as she was thinking about the little white fox, a soft sound, too soft for any other creature who couldn't hear a mouse a mile away, reached Kori's ears. Turning her head slightly, she was attacked by a small fox. Molly hardly ever listened to her when she was in this exuberant of a mood. Spreading her wings out, she did the most natural thing. Letting her human half fade completly, she screched. The sound echoed against the walls of the castle, and sent Molly rolling on the ground, covering her ears with her paws. Shaking her head slightly, Kori flew back to her perch on the stone. This is my friend Molly. She murmered, watching as the fox slunk over to beside the stone and lay down in a pile of fur, blending into the snow.
If it's food you need, I wouldn't mind helping you locate some, neither of us have eaten in a few days either. Her voice was soft, but it was still edged with ice. She was just nice like that sometimes, and this, this was simply one of those times. She looked over at Molly, her fluffy pelt braced against the wind, keeping her all nice and warm. She herself was in her warmest form, neither of her other form's had grown their winter coat. Turning to look back at the other, she tilted her head. I don't think I caught your name. She paused and continued. I'm usually called Koriana. Kori. Her feathers ruffled as a strong gust blew through the cemetary.
She followed the other's gaze when she said something about visiting someone. She saw the mosoluem, she'd heard the stories, a huge dragon was buried in there. His bones all that remained. Turning her gaze to look at the panther, she sighed. You knew Vox didn't you. It wasn't a question, she'd heard of the dragon a few times, who hadn't. For a while, the woman who gave her the jacket she wore in her human form revered him. She looked up to the strength of being a dragon.
